The self titled Family Bunkie is well and truly a hit with the family market as it offers everything that a family is looking for in a bunk caravan - well built, two bunks as standard, a bathroom, air conditioning, a large awning, a well equipped kitchen, DVD radio and CD entertainment systems, loads of storage and of course, comfortable beds all with innerspring mattresses, even the bunks.
The Bunkie is constructed using a 42mm one-piece composite floor comprised of 30mm of high-density polystyrene foam and a lined plywood base to protect against the elements. Along with the fully insulated hail-resistant one-piece roof and the strong Meranti frame.
In addition to all the standard features of the Family Range like an external roll out awning, the Bunkie comes with external 12 volt and 240 volt power outlets and a rear bumper bar on which the spare wheel is located.
The kitchen overlooks the outside entertaining area under the awning. The queen width innerspring bed features reading lights above the bedhead and bedside nooks either side of the bed. We don't forget the children and there are two bunks provided as standard, great for three children or perhaps one can be used as a play area or storage space. Each bunk is provided with a window, innerspring mattress, a reading light and a 12 volt socket for powering or recharging that essential equipment such as Ipads and Iphones
All the mod cons of the Bunkie are powered by a 100ah deep cycle battery, which is recharged by the solar panel or your car whilst towing. Two 9kg gas cylinders are provided and the two 95 litre water tanks provide ample fresh water.
